KEENE, NH – The University of New Hampshire will require COVID-19 testing for all students and staff in the fall.
In an update to parents on Monday, President James Dean said the move comes as part of an effort to impose as few restrictions as possible, while still keeping the community safe.
There will be no mask requirement, however folks are encouraged to follow CDC guidance on that matter, and there will be no cap on the size of gatherings, or social distancing requirement.
Those who have told the school that they are fully vaccinated will be tested once every other week, or more frequently on a volunteer basis. Unvaccinated students will be tested twice a week, and staff once a week, the same rate as last semester.
