Tax Free World Association (TFWA) President Jaya Singh has pointed to a different flagship World Exhibition and Conference in Cannes this year, which as reported is scheduled to take place on 26-30 September. In an address on day two of the European Travel Retail Confederation (ETRC) Annual Business Forum, the recently elected TFWA President said the association’s members and partners realise how important the event is to DF&TR after Cannes was cancelled last year. “We all hope it will take place at a time when international travel is up and running again. There will be changes both to content and format and we will share details on these in due course, but we are confident that the event will be the opportunity for which we are all desperate to gather as a global industry once again.
