Jurnalista Christiane Amanpour de la CNN a anunţat, luni, că a fost diagnosticată cu cancer ovarian, a fost operată şi face şedinţe de chimioterapie.
„Am avut o intervenţie chirurgicală de succes şi acum fac chimioterapie pentru cel mai bun prognostic pe termen lung şi sunt încrezătoare”, a spus Amanpour, relatează CNN.

I was born in the mid-1940s. Our home phone number was 1126. There were no area codes or direct dialing.
We had a dial on our telephone, but it was not activated until I was in first grade. Prior to that time we asked the operator to get a person or a number. In first grade I was able to dial one of my friends directly. My mother would call the operator at 10 a.m. on Sunday to get a call through to her brother in California at 3 p.m.
Our home address was Sussman at Woodside Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Outside of the city most folks had names for their addresses.

The first Breeze Airways flight took off from Tampa International airport at 10:44 local time on 27 May, marking the launch of a new US airline and another chapter in the start-up-studded career of founder David Neeleman.
Most of its 118 seats occupied, including one by Neeleman, the Embraer 195 climbed over Tampa Bay and banked north, headed for Charleston in South Carolina as Breeze flight 1.
“It’s a monumental task,” Neeleman says of achieving Federal Aviation Administration certification and getting Breeze airborne. “It was really a difficult [process] getting this… certification.”
