(Patch) PROVIDENCE, RI Two men from Connecticut and Massachusetts have been indicted by a Providence County Grand July following drug investigations by the Pawtucket Police Department. Jose Ramon Agosto Andino, 28, of Willimantic, Conn. and Jose Belen Agosto Andino, 37, of New Bedford, Mass. were indicted on May 14 based upon evidence garnered by police detectives. Jacky s Waterplace sued over access for blind teenager s service dog

PROVIDENCE  Haylee Mota and her family planned to celebrate her 17th birthday with dinner at Jacky’s Waterplace and Sushi Bar on Sept. 7. But plans for the dinner for seven fell apart when the restaurant refused to seat them due the presence of her service dog, according to a lawsuit filed in Providence County Superior Court. “It was frustrating,  said Mota, a precocious East Providence High School senior who plans to study mechanical engineering at the University of Southern California in the fall.  I know my rights under the [Americans with Disabilities Act]. Any establishment open to the public is open to a service dog.”

2 Woonsocket Teenagers To Be Tried As Adults In Murder Case

Reply Two Woonsocket teenagers will be tried as adults for their role in a 2019 murder case. (Shutterstock) WOONSOCKET, RI Two Woonsocket teenagers accused of killing a 17-year-old girl will face murder charges as adults, said Attorney General Peter F. Neronha in a news release Thursday. Craig Robinson and Quinton St. Pierre, both age 19, are facing one count of murder each and multiple gun and assault charges. Prosecutors say Robinson and St. Pierre were involved in the murder of NyAsia Williams-Thomas, who was found slumped over the steering wheel of a car on December 4, 2019. She was rushed to Landmark Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
