THE Brunton in Musselburgh is set to reopen later this month as a cinema venue, offering big-screen movies and concert event screenings. Audiences will be welcomed back to Venue 1 from May 26 as the team works to programme a range of theatre and concert screenings, with singing stars Michael Ball and Alfie Boe on screen on July 1 and co-founder of the band Fleetwood Mac, Mick Fleetwood and Friends, confirmed for September 11. Movie highlights get under way with Nomadland on May 26, Ammonite on June 2 and Minari on June 9. In line with Scottish Government regulations, The Brunton has a range of modifications in place including signage, floor markings, sanitiser stations, enhanced cleaning schedules, face coverings, reduced capacity in the auditorium and advance booking only. Staff will be on hand to offer a warm welcome and answer any questions visitors have.
