The Pembroke Horticultural Society was disappointed recently to see a cement table and bench it had installed at Pansy Patch Park vandalized.
The round table and rounded benches, along with a concrete pad for them to sit on, were installed at the park two years ago. A member of the Pembroke Horticultural Society was walking in the park May 17 when he noticed the table had been tipped over and one of the benches was removed from the bases. Later in the day the table and bench had been righted, according to Cathy Hugli, president of the PHS.
