Karachi Film Society (KFS) announces the third edition of the Pakistan International Film Festival (PIFF), which will be held from May 21-23.
Following all guidelines and SOPs of the ongoing global pandemic, this year’s programme will pay homage to all the incredible women associated with the Pakistan film industry. The flagstaff Women’s Edition will also celebrate the tremendous achievements of these women and host activities such as film screenings, educational workshops and seminars/webinars with special guests in attendance.

ISLAMABAD:
To keep and revive the tradition of classical music alive, a colourful and vibrant event titled RAGISTAN was held at the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) in which Ustad Raza Ali Khan of ‘Kasur Gharana’ performed at the PNCA open-air theatre.
The event has been initiated by the PNCA for the preservation and promotion of classical music, said a press statement on Saturday.
Women Biker’s Rally held at PNCA

Islamabad: The Bedari Foundation organised a ‘Women Biker’s Rally’ here on Saturday at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) to make women economically strong and stable.
The rally was held under the programme of ‘Women Economic Empowerment’ which was launched in collaboration with Bedari and Oxfam Pakistan.
In the Biker’s rally, women from Islamabad and Rawalpindi were trained in bike and car skills through a one-month course.
By using these skills, these women will be able to become financially active by providing pick-and-drop facilities to women and by registering them with various driving companies such as Careem, Uber, Bykea, Food Panda, Courier Services, School and College.
