Ian Mace Earlier this year, Ian Mace, then 51, travelled 400 miles to Scotland thinking he was going to meet a teenager he had been speaking to online. Mace had sent her thousands of messages on WhatsApp and app Highfive over the course of a month. But when he arrived at the destination, Kelly was not there.
Three men accused of drug dealing in Basingstoke have appeared in court. Darren Dean Bryant, of Skippetts Gardens, Viables, is charged with supplying cocaine to others on December 14. He stands accused alongside Terence David Hall, 38 of Quilter Road, Brighton Hill, and Saran Man Uam, 29 of The Moorings, Eastrop. The trio have not yet entered any pleas and will next appear at Winchester Crown Court on January 13.
A Basingstoke man has denied assaulting two people at a pub in Alton. Christopher Joseph James Murton, of Wateridge Road in Oakridge, has been charged with the assault by beating of two individuals at The Wheatsheaf Inn in Alton on August 7.
