The department announced officer Devin Frazier was fired following an internal investigation of alleged misconduct.
The officer was terminated on May 14 after serving two years on the force. Gourley outlined 10 allegations in the termination letter that led to Frazier’s firing.
The allegations of misconduct date back to September 2020 when Frazier responded to a domestic situation at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex. The report stated a woman bit off part of a man s ear during a scuffle over a cellphone.
Gourley noted in Frazier s termination letter that he took pictures of evidence with his personal phone without a supervisor s prior approval and he did not properly collect evidence from the scene. The former officer was also accused of inaccurately documenting information in the report.
