Ballia : , July 7 (IANS) Former Minister Ambika Chaudhary and his son, Anand Chaudhary, have been booked under the POCSO Act for allegedly shouting indecent slogans against state sports minister Upendra Tiwari and his family.
A video showing Samajwadi Party (SP) workers allegedly indulging in sloganeering against Upendra Tiwari went viral on social media.
Upendra Tiwari s family had demanded that the accused should be booked under the POCSO Act as the slogans targeted his two minor daughters along with his mother.
Upendra Tiwari has alleged that the SP workers had abused his mother and daughters.

Bodies were seen floating in the Ganges in Uttar Pradesh s Ballia and Ghazipur regions. At least 45 bodies were seen floating at the Ujiyar, Kulhadia, and Bharauli ghats in Ballia s Narahi area, as per locals.
Ballia district authorities have not disclosed the exact number of cadavers discovered. District Magistrate Aditi Singh said that some bodies have been found in very bad condition under the Ballia-Buxar bridge, adding that Subdivisional Magistrate and the circle officer are probing this incident. Singh further noted that funeral rites will be performed with due respect.
