Cameroonian woman held with narcotics in Shimla
Shimla, Apr 30 (UNI) A Cameroonian woman was apprehended by a special investigation unit of Himachal Pradesh police near Shogi barrier after seizing consignment of narcotics from a vehicle, police said on Friday.
A police team, led by Additional SP City Parveer Thakur, arrested 41-year-old Congo national Mafo Teague Juliette at Shogi barrier last night.
In a release, Shimla Superintendent of Police Mohit Chawla said that accused woman was presently staying in Delhi and as per interrogation she used to come to Shimla to sell Chitta or Heroin.

A massive fire broke out in Himachal Pradesh’s Praunthi on Wednesday, destroying a four-storey residential complex. All the 32 rooms in the building were completely gutted due to the blaze. However, no casualties were reported, officials said adding that the fire broke out at 4.15 pm.
The owner of the building, Yashwant Negi, has pegged the loss of property at Rs 10 Crore.
