The city will host “Departure: A Journey Tribute Band” at Ramona Park, located at 8600 South Sprinkle Road, on Thursday, July 15 at 7 p.m. Parking will open at 5 p.m. with spaces available on a first come, first served basis. Parking is limited. Lazy Man BBQ will serve concessions for purchase throughout the evening. The city provided the following statement about the concert: “In their 13th year together, Departure is the most respected Journey tribute band in the nation. The band replicates the look, sound and feel of the original 80’s rock super group – Journey. Departure plays all the hit songs that everyone knows and loves and pride themselves on giving their audience an incredible high-energy, qualitative stage show from start to finish.
