The Wyoming Game and Fish Department said on Monday, April 5 that with the arrival of spring, they are “amping up fish stocking throughout the state.” In 2020, Game and Fish stocked about 7.1 million fish in Wyoming waters. Game and Fish Assistant Culture Supervisor Travis Trimble said the 2021 stocking plans are similar to last year’s efforts. Most of the fish will be stocked into large reservoirs and other standing waters with Game and Fish planning to stock over 300 standing water bodies in the state this year.
