GUWAHATI: The Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS) has expressed concern over the shifting of the founder president of NDFB (National Democratic Front of Bodoland), Ranjan Daimari from the Guwahati Central Jail.
The BSS said that Daimari is being kept under the custody of the 10th Assam Police Battalion, Kahilipara. The Sabha appealed to the Union Home Ministry to look on the matter sympathetically to release him from jail since Daimari was one of the signatories of the Bodo Peace Accord signed on January 27, 2020.
