BREAKING: State of Emergency and Travel Ban For Niagara County

BREAKING: State of Emergency and Travel Ban For Niagara County Tuesday was a very active weather day for Western New York, especially for Niagara County. Thunderstorms rolled through the region during the afternoon and with it brought headaches for many across the northern portion of Western New York. Huge flooding filled sidewalks and streets as businesses such as Lake Effect Ice Cream and the Transit Drive-In were forced to close on Tuesday because of the thunderstorms and torrential flooding. Because of that, a state of emergency and travel ban has just been issued for Niagara County. Only emergency personnel will be permitted to travel during the ban. There’s no sign on exactly how long it will last.

Citing labor shortage, Transit Drive-In will limit number of vehicles

The drive-in asks that people arrive early, before admission is cut off, and buying tickets in advance will be strongly encouraged going forward.
