Lancaster’s new Sun Sensitive line becomes
The certification indicates that
100% of the ingredients in the line meet the Institute’s strict criteria to ensure they are as safe as possible for humans and the environment. It helps Lancaster to better address growing consumer interest in knowing more about the chemicals used in products and avoiding certain chemicals of concern.

The Material Health Certificate provides manufacturers with a means of assessing, optimizing and verifying its product chemistries for safety and the environment. It is awarded to products that meet the Material Health requirements of the multi-attribute Cradle to Cradle Certified Product Standard. The award indicates that 100% of the ingredients in the collection meet the Institute’s criteria.
Sun Sensitive is Lancaster’s first clean, vegan and ocean-friendly collection and the certification will be valid for two years.

In observance of Earth Day, Vitro Architectural Glass is recognizing its growth as an environmentally-focused business and ongoing commitment to meeting the standards of sustainability certification programs through its introduction of new, sustainable products.
Vitro Glass’s commitment to sustainability prioritizes responsible manufacturing processes and large-scale energy reduction using energy-efficient low- emissivity glasses. Vitro’s family of Solarban solar control low-e glass products and other glasses by Vitro have been installed on hundreds of LEED-certified buildings, including at least three of the world’s certified net-zero “living” buildings.
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, low-e coatings reduce the energy lost through typical windows by 35 percent resulting in about 1.5 quads in U.S. annual energy savings. Market share estimates suggest that about 0.5 quads approximately 0.5 x 1015 BTUs of that reduction is attributable to Vitro

Cotyâs Lancaster Sun Sensitive line has been awarded a Silver C2C Certified Material Health Certificate from the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute,
TRBusiness can reveal in a worldwide exclusive.
The fragrance, colour cosmetics, skin and body care giant says Lancaster Sun Sensitive, its products of which are available in global travel retail, is the first sun care range to receive the certificate in a major âfirstâ for the industry.
According to a document seen
TRBusiness, the certification runs until 17 March 2023 (
renewal required biennially) and covers the following products: Luminous Tan Repairing Balm, Tinted Mattifying Fluid (SPF50) and Oil-Free Milk SPF 50 Water Resistant.
