Toys for Tots raise more money this year

Group donates to MVH Toys for Tots drive

Courtesy of Mon Valley Hospital Gerald Stasicha delivered dozens of dolls, trucks and games on behalf of the Spring Grove Condo Clubhouse Committee as part of Monongahela Valley Hospital’s 2020 Toys for Tots Campaign. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the welcome desk in the hospital’s lobby until Dec. 18. The toys will be collected by the Mon Valley Leathernecks, a group of former Marines who have sponsored the local toy drive for more than three decades. For those unable to buy a toy but wish to contribute, the Leathernecks are accepting checks payable to “Toys for Tots.” Checks can be mailed to to Wally Fronzaglio, 204 Brokaw Ave., Donora, PA 15033. Annual Toys for Tots Bike Ride Sunday - Here's Where to See it

If you love motorcycles then get ready because it’s almost time for the annual “Toys for Tots Ride” The ride is this Sunday, Sunday, December 13 and it’ll start at 10AM at Central Mall.   This year’s been a challenge with the pandemic affecting a lot of charities. This year the Marine Corp Toys for Tots campaign needs your help more than ever as they will be helping over 4,000 children in the area. You can help this Sunday by bringing a new unwrapped toy to the Central Mall parking lot near J.C. Penny. The ride starts at 10:00 am and will arrive back at the mall parking lot around 11AM. There will be Toys for Tots boxes set up for toy donations.
