Man caught drink or drug driving FOUR times is jailed

Stock pictures. .Poole Magistrates Court. .. A MAN has been jailed for four months after he was caught repeatedly drink or drug driving. Adam Lee Scott appeared in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 5 in relation to four separate incidents. Scott, whose address was given as Pinewood Way, Salisbury, was drink driving, using a motor vehicle without insurance and driving without a licence in a blue Ford Transit van Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on July 4. On January 8, he was at the wheel of a Ford S-Max in excess of the drink drive limit and while disqualified on the A338 in Fordingbridge.

Six people dealt with by magistrates in Salisbury and Swindon

These are six cases recently heard by magistrates. ANDREW ALAN SPRULES, aged 33, of a mobile home park in Shrewton, pleaded guilty to possessing a folding pocket knife while in The Dolphin Inn in Devizes on September 10, 2019. Sprules admitted breaching a suspended sentence order made by Wiltshire Magistrates’ on July 16, 2019, after driving with a controlled drug above the legal limit. The defendant was fined a total of £2,171 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £125 and costs of £250. Sprules must attend activities and appointments as instructed by an officer. SYBIL ROSEANNE DORMER, aged 64, of Bouverie Avenue, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On September 2 last year she was driving a Mini Cooper along Exeter Street in Salisbury, with 233 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. She was fined £361 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £36 and costs of £85. The defendant was also disqualified f

March 31: Shane Potter, 37, of Watermill Drive, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a motor vehicle while more than twice over the drink drive limit. The offence took place at Boreham Hill, Boreham Street, on February 5. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 103 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £80 and his driving record endorsed with ten penalty points. Simon Foot, 60, of Marina, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour.
