A LOVING mum-of-five was found dead at home by her daughter after she took her own life, an inquest was told. Theresa Karen Woodfin, who was known as Karen to family and friends, died at her home in Highfield Road, Farnworth, on October 14.
Bolton Coroners Court heard how Mrs Woodfin was found hanging by her daughter Alana-Lee, who she had previously confided in about wanting to take her own life - mainly because she was in constant pain due to suffering severe fibromyalgia. Daughter Alana told the court: “She was very fun-loving, thoughtful, caring and compassionate. “She loved her children and her grandchildren. But she had a difficult past and also suffered heavily from fibromyalgia.
