The UW–Madison Libraries are providing access to library spaces and collections/equipment this summer, along with virtual and online services. From June 2 through August 6 you can use the Library by Appointment system to schedule pickups for holds, library visits, and study room reservations. To enter the Libraries, you do not have to show a Badger Badge, and fully vaccinated people will no longer be required to wear face coverings. Ask a Librarian and other remote library and research services are available from wherever you are.

COVID policies for events at CALS Ag Research Stations
The policies for events conducted at CALS ARS facilities will generally follow the Madison campus guidelines effective Monday, May 10. Differences with campus guidelines are indicated in
bold type below:
Guests and visitors will be allowed to attend UW–Madison sponsored events at CALS ARS without green/building access granted Badger Badge status. ARS superintendents may limit visitor access to certain facilities or locations to protect animal care staff and animals.
Event sponsors should submit a plan for the event to the ARS superintendent for discussion and approval.
Gathering/event size guidelines will be updated to follow the most current Public Health Madison & Dane County (PHMDC) Emergency Order. This guidance is likely to change over time and will be updated. The current PHMDC Order #15 guidelines are:
Do I still need to wear a mask?
On campus, yes. You may have seen that the CDC announced new guidelines Tuesday for mask wearing. University leaders are reviewing this guidance – any changes to the campus mask requirement will not be made until after the end of the spring semester.
How much longer do I need to test?
Once you’re fully vaccinated, you no longer need to test regularly.Learn more.
If you’ll be on campus this summer and you’re not yet fully vaccinated,
continue testing weekly to maintain your green Badger Badge, as some facilities and programs will require it for entry.
