Commissioner of Police Chester Williams held a National Quarterly COMPSTAT session with his Commanders of Regions, Formations and Divisions on Thursday at the National Police Training Academy in Belmopan. Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries along with the Chief Executive Officer were present to observe Senior Police Officers carrying out PowerPoint style presentations, focusing on their district’s three months report cards (January to March 2021) on their operations, major crimes, policing strategies, community policing, administration, supervision and human resources.

The media competition is an extension of a data training workshop that the organization held last February. According to Adele Ramos, the Technical Coordinator of the B.C.O., the purpose is to recognize journalists for their work and use of statistical crime data.
