Full-time faculty at SUNY Corning Community College overwhelmingly voted on a secret electronic ballet that they have no confidence in President William P. Mullaney.
Ryan Hersha, president and member of the Professional Educators of Corning Community College, said 42 PECCC members, or 82%, voted no to the question posed on the ballet do you have confidence in the leadership of Mullaney as president of SUNY CCC? Nine members of PECCC members voted yes to that question.
Hersha said the vote was based on a pattern of disrespect toward college employees, staff and faculty alike, and also: A consistent failure to collaborate with college employees in good faith on issues that affect our work and by extension our students.
