Spider-Man 3 Is the Most Exciting Movie of MCU Phase 4, Here s Why
Spider-Man 3 may be the most ambitious Marvel Cinematic Universe movie yet.
MCU s Phase 4 made an astonishing beginning with the integrated Disney+ series WandaVision, which has created several unique theories regarding the future of MCU. On the movies end, Phase 4 is still set to begin with
Black Widow being constantly delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But the most exciting and probably the most significant entry in MCU Phase 4 will be the unofficially titled Spider-Man: Homecoming 3, currently dubbed as
Given that Marvel Phase 4 is set to explore the MCU multiverse and Disney own the Fox characters, it feels like some much-loved superheroes will be entering the MCU for the first time.
But not just Fox, since Untitled Spider-Man 3 is heavily rumoured to feature past Sony Peter Parkers played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, along with a whole host of previous villains.
Maguire Spider-Man trilogy director Sam Raimi is helming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so our best bet is that those Sony characters will only cameo in Tom Holland’s solo threequel before appearing in his movie some three months later.

Although amusingly he doesn’t really age at all over this 20 year period, much like James McAvoy’s Professor X and Fassbender’s Magneto.
Of course, there’s also the two present-day set Fox Deadpool movies which make fun of the confusing X-Men timeline. Peters’ Quicksilver, alongside other Dark Phoenix characters, cameoed for a split second in Deadpool 2 even though they were from the 1990s set film.

Considering Peters’ Quicksilver debut in WandaVision and rumours of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and other Sony Marvel characters reprising their roles in Untitled Spider-Man 3 this Christmas, we could be headed towards an Avengers: Secret Wars multiverse epic. But where did this all start?

Tom Holland has been busy shooting Untitled Spider-Man 3 ahead of its release this Christmas. There’s been all kinds of rumours surrounding what MCU boss Kevin Feige codenames Homecoming 3, including the appearance of Sony Spider-Man stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in some multiverse mayhem with old villains. In a new interview, 24-year-old Holland, who has accidentally leaked Marvel spoilers in the past, has played it very coy.
