YMCA Summer Day Camp
This summer, let your kids be kids again at the Sewickley Valley YMCA’s Summer Day Camp. During camp at the Y, your child can build robots, dance, become a lego master or gymnast, explore the outdoors and much more. Plus, all camps include art, swimming, games and singing silly songs. Local Conservative and Reform community members are pleased with the recent Israeli Supreme Court decision granting citizenship to those who converted to Judaism under non-Orthodox auspices in the Jewish state.
“I think it’s a significant first step in recognizing the validity, legitimacy and authority of a non-Orthodox understanding of Jewish identity,” said Rabbi Aaron Bisno , senior rabbi of Rodef Shalom Congregation.
