Have you heard the latest buzz? Walnut Township schools declared its 2020-2021 Spelling Bee champion! Raelyn Diendle, a sixth-grade student at Millersport Elementary, competed against students in grades four through eight in several rounds before winning the district spelling bee. Each grade level also had a top speller. Annabel Deal (fourth grade), Ava Blevins (fifth grade), Thomas Cuyler (seventh grade), and Ellen Bruckelmeyer (eighth grade) were deemed grade level winners. Congratulations to all participants and winners of this year’s Scripps Spelling Bee program.
