Third Friday in downtown Lincoln will be filled with activities for all ages. The first Third Friday Downtown event of 2021 will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 21. Admission is free and social distancing is suggested throughout the evening.
In a press statement organizer Marcia Cook said she has been happy with the overall response.
“The event is shaping up nicely with lots of activities, food and free entertainment for the community. Several vendors and artisans have signed up to have tables at the event, but there is still plenty of room for more. Interested parties are encouraged to consider bringing their small business products, artwork, or information about their organization or club to the outdoor event.,” wrote Cook.

3rd Friday s Downtown Committee
The City of Lincoln announced the return of the 3rd Fridays Downtown event during the months of May, June and July.
In a press statement from the 3rd Friday committee gave details on what the future events will look like.
“Currently, we are accepting applications for vendors and community groups for booth spaces on the square. We are adding an artisan market this year for artist and handmade items. Each vendor will receive a 12’ x 12’ space to occupy during hours of operation. There will be spaces with a power source and granted on a first come, first served basis,” as written in the statement.
