In what was just his second start of the season, Landon Knack (W, 3-0) threw six scoreless innings against the Lugnuts, allowing no runs on two hits. Knack’s six strikeouts in six innings were both season-highs. The Utica Blue Sox will wear special pink-themed uniforms, and auction off the game-worn jerseys, to benefit the American Cancer Society in its fight against Breast Cancer.

UTICA, N.Y. - The Utica Blue Sox announced plans for their third annual Pink the Park Night at Murnane Field, Friday.
The event, sponsored by Hannaford Supermarkets, will take place on Saturday, July 24, when the Sox host the Auburn Doubledays at 6:30 p.m.
Utica players will wear special pink-themed uniforms to be auctioned off during the game, with proceeds going towards the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer awareness and research programs.
