Graceville man arrested on drug charges Posted on A Graceville man is facing felony charges after deputies locate methamphetamine in a cigarette pack. On April 20th, at approximately 11 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office was in the area of Cope Rd. and Snell Rd. near the county line assisting Jackson County Sheriff’s Office in locating a subject who had fled on foot. WCSO deputies observed a suspicious vehicle with the driver attempting to conceal his face. Deputies initiated an investigative traffic stop. Contact was made with the driver of the vehicle who stated his license were suspended. He did produce a Florida Identification Card which revealed the driver as, 25-year-old, Nathan Scott Ward of Graceville.

The appointment line opened at 9 a.m. Wednesday and all appointments were filled by 10:35 a.m. When those with appointments arrive, a Florida Driver License or Florida Identification Card will be required, or two additional documents. Visit Lee County’s vaccine webpage for examples of acceptable documents. The county and its partners, FDOH-Lee and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, anticipate the site will run expeditiously.

Hialeah to Give Away Grocery Gift Cards to Financially Struggling Residents

The application process will be quick. Starting Wednesday, Hialeah residents can pick up an application at either John F. Kennedy Library, Goodlet Park, Carl Slade Park or Babcock Park. You can also find the application on the city’s website. Then on Friday, Dec. 18, residents should bring the filled out application to the Hialeah Race Track, where they will be giving out the gift cards.  Applicants must come in a car, so city officials say to make plans ahead of time. You will also need a Florida driver’s license or Florida Identification Card and a copy of it. You also have to be a Hialeah resident to be eligible for the gift card.
