+ March 17, 2021 THE Provincial Government of Bulacan has ordered a month-long curfew and liquor ban starting Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in light of increasing coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases.
Under Executive Order No. 8, series of 2020 signed by Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando, the curfew will be from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. and the sale, transport and consumption of liquor and other intoxicating beverages are prohibited in both public and private places until April 17, 2021.
Those in need of emergency services and workers in permitted industries are exempted from the curfew provided that they can provide sufficient proof of their identification and work schedules.
Fernando said border quarantine checkpoints must be established especially in the critical areas of the province in order to contain the spread of the virus.
