Keith C. ‘Ye-Bop’ Jones
WILLIAMSBURG Keith C. “Ye-Bop” Jones, 60, was born Nov. 23, 1960, to the union of Robert E. and Rosa Belle Jones of Williamsburg. He departed this life Monday, March 29, 2021, in Beckley, West Virginia.
He attended the York County public schools in Williamsburg, where he found his passion for football. He played for four years until he graduated from Bruton High School. Keith was a very hard worker. He worked several years at Fort Eustis.
Keith loved talking to everyone. He didn’t have to know you to start up a conversation. He loved being outside; enjoying his friends; and driving his favorite car, which was named “Bambi.” He also loved listening to music, especially gospel and watching TBN. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a young age. He loved to tell people about God and how Jesus can save you.
