An inaugural indoor volleyball tournament for year 7 and 8 students from schools within the New Plymouth district was held at the TSB Stadium on Wednesday. Hosted by the Spotswood Volleyball Club, the competition had 22 teams from seven schools participating in either social or competitive grades. The teams came from Oakura Primary, Omata Primary, Te Pi ipi inga Kākano Mai I Rangiātea Kura Kaupapa Māori, Highlands Intermediate, Sacred Heart Girls’ College, Manukorihi Intermediate and Inglewood Primary.
