Social media campaign aims to attract more international students to New Hampshire © Provided by WMUR Manchester college campus Fourteen colleges and universities around New Hampshire are taking part in a pilot program designed to attract more international students to the state. The country has seen the number of foreign students drop sharply since the pandemic began. There were about 18% fewer international students last fall in New Hampshire. Debby Scire, president of the New Hampshire College and University Council, called that figure significant, so a social media campaign is now underway.Sign up for our Newsletters Our approach has been to think about New Hampshire as a great place to go to college, Scire said.

Terrance J. Quinn Terrance John Quinn, 76, passed away May 4, 2021 after a battle with cancer. He was a resident of Merrimack, New Hampshire and Boothbay Harbor, Maine.   Terry was born Nov. 28, 1944 in Naugatuck, Connecticut to Marion and John Quinn.  He married his love, Donna Quinn Nov. 29, 1969.   Terry s passion was his family.  He was a dedicated husband, father and grandpa.  More than anything he treasured and embraced time with his family.  He had a talent for always making those around him laugh especially during “happy hour,” his favorite time of the day.  He was a longtime volunteer football coach for the Merrimack Cardinals throughout the 1980s and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and dance performances.  He also loved helping out his friends by mowing lawns and doing odd jobs for his friends and neighbors in Boothbay Harbor.
