One of our favorite activities while cruising Candlewood Lake is admiring the big beautiful homes that occupy Candlewood Lake s waterfront. Mindy and I have owned a boat on Connecticut s largest lake for the last 34 years, and we love inviting friends out for our cocktail dinner cruises. We like to call it our yoga.
We own a 25 foot 1995 Godfrey pontoon boat with 1,450 hours of running time on it, which we fondly call our floating living room . So I thought that maybe some of you would enjoy checking out what the Candlewood Lake waterfront looks like from the water.

New Fairfield is chompin at the bit in anticipation of a new Froggy s Deli coming to town. I say new because there are three other locations in New York State in Brewster, Pawling, and Somers, all family-owned and operated.
New Fairfield will be Froggy s fourth location which I found out about on the New Fairfield/Sherman Facebook page. So far, there have been 145 comments, with most of them voicing their excitement about a new business with a stellar reputation opening up in town.
New Fairfield has had a fabulous deli in town for years inside the family-owned New Fairfield Food Center. Is there room enough in a small town of 14,000 for two excellent delis? I d bet my CT Italian Combo Grinder that there is.
