One woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon on North Main Street in Punxsutawney.
The Punxsy Spirit reports a woman was traveling north on Route 36 and failed to see another vehicle stopped ahead and struck it from behind.
She was taken to Punxsutawney Area Hospital by Jefferson County EMS for treatment of an unknown injury.
All three Punxsutawney fire companies were dispatched to the scene along with borough police.
Responders cleared the scene in about 15 minutes.
A Reynoldsville man was injured in a crash that shut down a portion of US 322 in Winslow Township of Jefferson County Friday afternoon.

The Punxsutawney Area Hospital announced that it has been recognized as a 2021 Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, this is the third consecutive year PAH has received this honor and distinction.
Compiled by the Chartis Center for Rural Health, this 11th annual recognition program honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results the the Hospital Strength Index.
Over the course of the last 11 years, the index has grown to become the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance.

Multiple fire departments were dispatched to a structure fire in McCalmont Township of Jefferson County early Sunday morning.
According to the Punxsy Spirit a McCalmont Township volunteer firefighter was injured while battling the fully involved structure fire that completely destroyed a house located along Highland Park Road.
McCalmont Township fire chief, Orrie Manners said no one had lived in the home for some time. He said the owners had been renting it out but the previous tenants had moved out a year ago.
The injured firefighter was taken to Punxsutawney Area Hospital for a suspected ankle injury. The cause of the fire is undermined and the PA State Police Fire Marshal was called to investigate.
