“Right now the ground is moving, and we don’t have the answers,” reflects the artist Mark Bradford in a Zoom recording captured as part of the Smithsonian Archives of American Art’s new Pandemic Project a collection of 85 interviews with artists and arts workers about their experiences of, and reflections on, 2020 in America.
