Boys raped schoolgirl during Appleby Horse Fair, jury told

Allegations: The area where the girl was allegedly raped A FRIGHTENED Cumbrian schoolgirl was forced to perform sex acts on two teenage boys after one of them grabbed her and “dragged” her into a secluded lane in Appleby, a jury heard. The boys - aged 14 and 15 at the time - were perfect strangers to the girl but they insist she was a willing partner in the sexual encounter during the town’s annual Horse Fare in 2019. The teenagers, now 16 and 17, deny rape. Opening the case at Carlisle Crown Court, prosecutor Tim Evans said that the two boys had come to Appleby from the Midlands with their families for the annual Horse Fair.
