BAY CITY, MI - Support for local restaurants has a whole new, totally mobile look in the Bay area. A recently created community organization known as Operation Shantyville has been on the move around the region, setting up ice fishing shanties and deer blinds outside of restaurants, allowing people to enjoy an adventurous twist on outdoor dining while providing some much-needed support for local businesses.

DETROIT – Three Michigan businesses have had their liquor licenses suspended for violating COVID-19 safety rules regarding masks and gatherings, according to the state.
The
Businesses are not currently allowed to have indoor gatherings on their licensed premises, officials said.

On Jan. 14, the state ordered the emergency suspension of the liquor license and permits held by Corky’s Beal City Tavern.
