Christian County school board members have approved the architect for any construction projects that are a part of the district's five-year facilities plan.
They would be responsible for designing any potential construction in the district, not just the proposed consolidation. Hunt says one of the things they liked about the presentation was the ability for educators and the public to have input in the design plans.
The board also approved a District Facilities Plan Hearing Officer’s report, which says that the board held a public hearing on June 1. Hunt says it was advertised in the Kentucky New Era the meeting would be held, and it wasn’t immediately clear if other notifications were made to local media leading up to the hearing. Only two people were attendance, according to the report, which were Hunt and a facilitator with the Kentucky School Plant Managers Association, Pete Galloway.

Actress Joyce Falconer will resume the role she last played in 2008 while fans of River City will also welcome a new face as broadcaster and actor Grant Stott joins the soap. Loud, brash, and generally outspoken, Roisin fast became one of the show’s most iconic characters when she arrived in 2002 with an unmistakable Doric accent and her no-nonsense attitude towards life.
Martin McCardie, BBC Studios Series Producer for River City, said: “We are delighted to have the fantastic Grant Stott joining the cast, he will have a huge impact on some of our regular characters and will hopefully enjoy being on the show.
“The late, great, Andy Gray was always recommending Grant as an actor and as a team player to the show – we are happy to say that we listened to him.”
Gavin Smith, BBC Scotland’s Executive Producer added: The brilliant Grant Stott plays a character who is going to stir up the past for some of Shieldinch’s residents but we’re keeping those details under wraps….for now!”
