So much for a return to normalcy.
According to CNN, the CDC will recommend all persons in K-12 schools wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status
Could this move prompt Bishop Chatard, Beech Grove, and other local area schools to revoke their “mask optional” status?
The CDC will also ‘recommend ‘that even those who have been fully vaccinated against the Coronavirus continue to wear masks indoors and outdoors.
In May, the CDC announced that vaccinated individuals were not required to wear masks nor social distance.
Yessir, the CDC is just oozing with credibility at this point, are they not?

INDIANAPOLIS Even for the best of pessimists, the sunshine and warmth of an Indiana May always seems to lead to big smiles and positive outlooks.
That s what our Dave Calabro found on Monument Circle Thursday as he asked people to share their good news.
And he found it in abundance, from a young student celebrating success on a big math test, to a woman who said she s looking forward to a busy weekend, when her brother graduates from Bishop Chatard and two of her friends get married!

Georgetown Visitation edged Bishop Ireton (Va.) 10-9 in overtime Wednesday on Molly McGuckin’s third goal of the game, and the Cubs are now No. 1.
McGuckin also had six draw controls and keyed the Cubs’ second-half possession. Sally Zinsner scored two goals, and Allie Boyce, Molly Finlay, Ella O, Megan Meyers and Madison Rassas all had one goal apiece.
The defense held Ireton scoreless over the final four minutes. Their next game isn’t scheduled until May 17 against Paul VI (Va.).

Drayk Bowen won t come right out and say it. His humility won t allow him to.
The Andrean sophomore has emerged as one of the top prospects in the state, but instead of bragging about it, he would rather let his performance on the field speak for itself.
So far, that approach has worked well for the star linebacker, as evidenced by a scholarship offer from perhaps his most notable suitor yet â Notre Dame. It was really exciting. I was extremely happy to get the offer, Bowen said. . They were talking with my coach (Chris Skinner) a little bit, and so I called them and they asked about my grades and what my home life was like. And then (associate head coach Brian Polian) said, We re going to offer you.
Next up in the 2021 recruiting class film study series is Miami (OH) graduate transfer offensive lineman Danny Godlevske. If you missed my breakdown of defensive lineman Aden Kelley, you can find it here.
The former RedHawk is one of 12 from this class expected to enroll this week for the spring semester. He comes to Stillwater after having started 39 games at center for the RedHawks from 2016 through this past season. He would have more starts under his belt but Godlevske broke his foot in the 2017 season opener against Marshall and missed the remainder of the season, and Miami (OH) only played three games this past season.
