Philippines Foreign Secretary is "most probably right" that the way to deal with China is not to employ the "usual suave diplomatic speak", according to Sky News host Alan Jones.
China has allegedly sent militia vessels inside the 200 nautical miles exclusion economic zone with the Philippines which the Chinese government claims are fishing boats taking shelter from bad weather.
"The Philippines are not alone in being concerned about China's continuing determination to take control of the South China Sea. The waters there, I have said before, are resource-rich," he said.
"But the Philippines have a 200 nautical mile exclusion economic zone. It doesn't worry China. They go where they want, even though their claim to 90 per cent of the South China Sea was invalidated in International Tribunals.
"And is this the way to deal with China?"
