In a news release on Saturday, the city said it is working with its health care partners, pharmacies and mobile teams and Toronto Public Health to administer the vaccines based on available supply.

Where to find a COVID-19 vaccine pop-up clinic in Toronto this weekend

Published Saturday, May 15, 2021 1:03PM EDT Dozens of vaccination clinics will be operating in Toronto today, including many pop-up sites where residents can get a shot without an appointment. The clinics are mostly open to adults who live in hot spot postal codes, though some of them have widened their eligibility to include adults who work in hot spot postal codes as well. Here is a list: Aga Khan Museum (77 Wynford Drive): Open on Saturday, May 15 to anyone 18 years old and over who live in any hot spot areas in Toronto. From 8 a.m. until supply runs out (2500 doses available). Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute (3663 Danforth Avenue):

Last Updated Thursday, May 13, 2021 10:04AM EDT A total of 47 vaccination clinics will be in operation in Toronto today, including at least half a dozen pop up sites where residents can get a shot without an appointment. The clinics are mostly open to adults who live in hot spot postal codes, though some of them have widened their eligibility to include adults who work in hot spot postal codes as well. Here is a list: Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute (3663 Danforth Avenue) Open to all adults who live or work in any of Toronto’s hot spot postal codes but priority will be given to people in M1J, M1K, M1L and M1M. Parents of students at Birchmount Collegiate will also be eligible to receive a shot, regardless of address.

The death of George Floyd last May reignited a global conversation about systemic racism. At Newtonbrook Secondary School in Toronto, it even inspired a much-needed curriculum on anti-Black racism.  Four Black high school teachers developed the Grade 12 course titled  Deconstructing anti-Black racism in the Canadian North American context  after a roundtable with concerned students.  As a young person, myself and the other educators, we grew up through this system of education and we know what s been delivered,  D. Tyler Robinson, one of the teachers, told blogTO.
