At the April meeting of the South Bruce Community Liaison Committee (CLC), the community and committee members received an educational presentation from staff at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).
The CNSC had previously held a public webinar for South Bruce residents in September 2020 and returned specifically to give an overview of radiation health basics to the CLC.

The Formosa Country Christmas, where thousands and thousands of lights lit up the Lions Park and the hamlet of Formosa, and where hundreds of displays, including that of Santa’s workshop, were viewed by a few thousand families participating in the safe drive-thru, donation only Christmas event.
Carl Zettel, an organizer of the event, said the drive-thru event, which was hosted from Dec. 4-6, exceeded expectations.

On Friday, Formosa Country Christmas brought in 561 vehicles, on Saturday that number jumped to 1,177 vehicles and on the final night, 817 vehicles took in the beautifully decorated scenery.
