Man accused in Shreveport robbery, shooting

One man is behind bars after allegations that he robbed and shot another man. Nathan Carl Lee, 34, of Shreveport, was arrested on Wednesday, after allegations were made that he robbed and shot Brian Atkins. Shreveport police responded to the 4800 block of Monkhouse Drive on Jan. 30, in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located Atkins who had suffered a gunshot injury to the chest. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Evidence led Violent Crimes investigators to determine that Atkins was shot after he accepted a ride from Lee. Atkins was then removed from the vehicle on Monkhouse Drive.

Shreveport Man Arrested for January Shooting A man is behind bars this morning after allegations that he robbed and shot another male. Back on January 30, 2021, Shreveport Police responded to Monkhouse Drive in response to a shooting. Officers located Brian Atkins suffering from a gunshot injury to the chest.  The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Evidence led investigators to determine that Atkins was shot after he accepted a ride from 34-year-old Nathan Carl Lee. While Akins was in the car with Lee, Lee decided to rob Atkins and shot him in the chest after robbing him.  Atkins was kicked out of the car in the 4800 block of Monkhouse Drive.
