He was baptized at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Warren County and later joined the Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church family. There he served as a trustee, a member of the choir, Sunday school superintendent, a member of the Courtesy Committee and a member of the Food Committee. He was an avid attendant of Bible Study and Vacation Bible School. Kerry graduated from Louisville High School on June 4, 1973 and furthered his education at Augusta College, East Georgia College and Georgia College.

McDonough child support office moves to new location

ATLANTA — The Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is serving Henry County residents from a new location as of Monday, April 12. The office at 46 Sloan St. closed its doors permanently at the end of the business day on Friday, April 9, and the new office, located at 2030 Avalon Pkwy. in McDonough, opened Monday. DCSS is still conducting in-person meetings with customers by appointment only. Parents are encouraged to use self-service options and telephonic communication as a primary means to conduct business with DCSS during this time.
