The USC soccer team defeated both Oregon State and Oregon this weekend and are now 3-1 on the season.
After their first loss of the season against Arizona State last Friday, the USC women’s soccer team defeated Oregon State 2-0 in a dominant performance at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Junior forward Penelope Hocking scored the game’s only two goals, including a score in the 88th minute to secure the victory for the Trojans.

SAN FRANCISCO - After defeating No. 3 Stanford over the weekend, Oregon State s sophomore Abby Schwartz and senior Kaillen Fried have been honored by the conference, as announced Monday afternoon.
Schwartz was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week while Fried garnered the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week award.
I m extremely happy for both Abby and Kaillen, said head coach Matt Kagan. Although these are individual awards, these two are selfless human beings who put the team s success first. Kaillen made one of the best defensive plays I ve seen in a long time and Abby finished her opportunity to help the team win.
