Hugo Monypenny is the founder of award winning independent street food venture, MorMor.
Based in the North, his delicious, healthy food is inspired by a love of the varied flavours and cultures found in The Levant – a crossroads of western Asia, the eastern Mediterranean and northeast Africa.
With MorMor proving a massive hit at street food venues across the UK, Hugo, who now works with his older brother, Josh, has his sights set even higher, launching a third venue and two new food ventures.

Covent Garden, the pedestrianised heart of London loved for its dining, shopping and culture, reopens on Monday 12 April with over 35 restaurants offering an additional 500 new outdoor dining seats, a six week street-food festival, new pop-up bars on the Piazza, a 3m high ‘Hello London’ welcome back message and a new botanical garden outdoor picnic area.
