Alec Hunter s Bradley Paxton collects presents for vulnerable children

A BIG-HEARTED teenager will bring joy to dozens of underprivileged children this Christmas after putting together a haul of shoeboxes packed with presents. Alec Hunter student Bradley Paxton, 13, hopes the array of toys and gifts he has collected will be handed out to students at White Hall Academy, in Clacton, before the Christmas break. Bradley has been working with mum Lorraine Walsh since September to get the shoeboxes filled to bring a smile to those less fortunate. Each one contains a mix of books, DVDs, stationery, soft toys and games. Lorraine said: “Last year we said we wanted to do something to help others this Christmas and had initially thought about helping out on Christmas Day at a local homeless shelter.
