ServisFirst Bank has recruited one of CapStar Bank’s executive vice presidents to help lead its Middle Tennessee commercial lending team.
The hiring of Brad Greer as a senior vice president is the second notable addition of 2021 for ServisFirst, which launched its local arm in 2013 and has grown its loan book to about $800 million since. Regional CEO Bradford Vieira a few weeks ago announced he had
hired Steve Uebelhor, who helped launch Pinnacle Financial Partners in 2000.
Like Uebelhor, Greer is a veteran of the Nashville banking scene. He was a senior lender at the local arms of the former First American and U.S. Bank before joining Regions Bank in 2003 and eventually managing a book of more than $200 million. He joined CapStar in 2008 as it was preparing to open its doors that summer.
Four-decade banker named regional chief credit officer
ServisFirst Bank has hired one of Middle Tennessee’s most veteran commercial bankers to be chief credit officer of its Nashville operations.
Steve Uebelhor has joined ServisFirst Bank Nashville as executive vice president and will oversee regional credit decisions and credit review meetings for the Alabama-headquartered lender, which set up shop here in 2013. Uebelhor has more than four decades of banking experience and was a member of the small team that more than two decades ago launched Pinnacle Financial Partners. He had been a senior VP at the region’s largest bank.
“Steve brings an enormous amount of experience and market knowledge to our commercial team, said Bradford Vieira, CEO of ServisFirst Bank Nashville. Steve is one of the most well-respected commercial bankers in Middle Tennessee and his breadth of experience will add tremendous value to our clients and prospects.
