The couple owned several properties together, including a cosmetics store in Miami, his daughter told the Daily Beast. He had a son and a daughter, while Beatriz Guerra, known as Betty, had two sons, the story said.
Betty Guerra spent much of her life working for the Avon cosmetics company. She had also been a math teacher at G. Holmes Braddock Senior High in western Miami-Dade County.
A Facebook group for alumni posted a yearbook entry for Betty Guerra, who was then known as Ms. Anton, in which she spoke of how much she liked teaching math.

Every year, FIU hosts its Wall of Wind Mitigation Challenge, in which teams of local high school students develop innovative wind mitigation concepts and solutions within guidelines set by FIU’s wind engineers. The objective of the 2021 challenge was for students to design a way to reduce the impact of wind scour – the process of wind scraping against surfaces – on a building’s flat roof. Each team had to develop a solution to prevent roof gravel from blowing away during testing.
Man, 23, arrested over sexual comments to G. Holmes Braddock Senior High students

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Daniel Aguilar worked as a temporary teacher at G. Holmes Braddock Senior High in unincorporated Miami-Dade County when he targeted girls there, police said.
Aguilar, 24, is accused of using text messaging and Instagram to make sexual advances on high school students who were younger than 16 years old. One of the victims reported him to school administrators on Jan. 11.
Officers arrested Aguilar on Feb. 5 and he is facing two felony counts of offenses against students, two felony counts of electronic transmission of material harmful to minors, and two felony counts of lewd or lascivious conduct with a child who is younger than 16 years old.
