CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Two newlyweds in the Lowcountry got the surprise of a lifetime when they recently won a free wedding. Kelsey and Zachary Lucas heard about a contest on the radio which was aimed at finding a Lowcountry couple, who were frontline workers, to win an intimate elopement package.
âWe honestly didnât think we were going to win but we were like, well letâs just do it, thereâs no harm in trying,â Kelsey said.

WILMETTE, IL More homes were sold in Wilmette amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 than in any of the previous 28 years, according to local real estate data. Five homes sold for more than $3 million last year, including two neighboring properties.
High demand from buyers meant median sales prices of condos, townhomes and single-family residences in Wilmette met or exceeded the median listing price for four months last summer.
In December 2020, the median closing price and median listing price each stood at $335,000, according to Realtor.com listing data, down by 4.3 percent year-on-year.
